It’s hard to believe that 2024 is in the books. It’s also hard to believe how far the Nexus supercomputer has come in the past 12 months. We had a lot of big milestones and scaled both the company and our mission.
Here are some notable highlights:
The Nexus 1.0 Whitepaper that started it all was published in January.
We announced the Nexus zkVM at ETH Denver in April.
In June, Nexus Founder and CEO Daniel Marin and Nexus Chief Scientist Jens Groth explained how the Nexus zkVM works and why the innovation creates the basis for the Verifiable Internet.
Also in June we announced our Series A raise, which helped make the vision of Nexus a reality.
By July we released the zkVM 2.0, which made building the Nexus network possible.
In October, we launched Testnet 0, or a beta version of the Nexus network, to overwhelming support.
In December, Forbes magazine recognized Nexus Founder and CEO, Daniel Marin, as a leader in its science category for the annual 30 Under 30 list.
Also in December we launched Testnet I.
We closed the year by sharing the results of Testnet I and the beginnings of the supercomputer.
It’s been an exciting ride and an exciting year. We couldn’t have done it without the support of our partners, investors, and growing community of people interested in building a better Internet. Our big plans for 2025 are already moving forward. We can’t wait to share more with you soon.
Until then, we wish you a happy and prosperous New Year.
