Nexus and Orochi Network are entering a partnership to enhance the performance and functionality of the Nexus zkVM. 

The strategic partnership will make verifiability and zero knowledge computing more accessible to more people.

The goal helps our ongoing mission of building the Verifiable Internet by leveraging Orochi’s technology – specifically the ability to enhance data availability across the zero-knowledge space. 

Zero-knowledge data availability

Building the Verifiable Internet will require building a new kind of computing infrastructure – one that relies on zero-knowledge cryptography.

By partnering with Orochi, a leader in the space, we will have the ability to:

• Create access to Orochi’s Zero-Knowledge Data Availability Layer: This enables provable data integrity by ensuring that all data is cryptographically verifiable and transparent.
• Support trustworthy data by using verifiable random values: This ensures the authenticity of data and enhances security and trust within decentralized applications and protocols.

Both of these attributes contribute to better data integrity and security as the Nexus network continues to scale.

What does this mean for Nexus network developers?

One way to think about the vision for the Verifiable Internet is that we will enable a chain of touch points that reinforce and enable the use of verified data via zero-knowledge proofs and the Nexus zkVM.

This partnership with Orochi helps enable more of those touch points, which gets us one step closer to the big vision of verifiability everywhere and for everyone.
