zkGM, Campers, thank you for being among the very first campers to join Camp Nexus.
One of the most important things about Camp Nexus is being prepared to claim your rewards! This guide will help make sure you are able up to receive Merit Badge and Hidden Badge points. W
Think of these as your essential camping gear - you'll need them all to participate in our weekly challenges and earn those sweet rewards!
Your Active Node: First things first, you need at least one active node running on Nexus OS. The button at the bottom of the screen means your node is active and you are proving. No active node means we can't send you NEX Testnet points!
Your Official Camp Address: When participating in challenges, always use your Nexus wallet address (the one from your Nexus OS account). Once you start proving, you'll see it pop up on the leaderboard. We need the right one to send your rewards to the right place!
If you've got multiple wallets linked up, use the one that shows up on the leaderboard - that's your main camp address.
Show Your Work: Each week's challenge will tell you exactly what proof to share - maybe a screenshot, maybe a specific action. Just like camp arts and crafts, we need to see what you've created to give you credit!
Camp Troubleshooting Corner
Your Pre-Reward Checklist
Before you start wondering where your rewards are, let's make sure you've got all your camp basics covered:
✅ Registered at Camp: You're signed up on Nexus OS with your wallet linked
✅ Right Address: You used your main Nexus wallet address, not a backup one
✅ Active & Proving: You've got proving turned on and can see your node in your account
✅ Challenge Complete: You replied to the right tweet AND retweeted (if needed)
✅ Reward Distribution: We send out rewards the following week, usually on Tuesday or Wednesday the week after badges are released. For example: you'll receive Week 1 rewards in the middle of Week 2, and so on.
Camp Rules & Fair Play
One Reward Per Camper: You can only claim rewards with one wallet address - we'll go with your main account. This keeps things fair and prevents any sneaky duplicate claims.
Timing Matters: All your challenge activities need to be done before our weekly deadline (usually Fridays at 3 PM PT). Late submissions won't count for that week's rewards, but there's always next week's adventure!
