Merit Badge Challenge: Spelunking Badge
Building the Nexus planetary supercomputer is a community-wide effort. It happens globally, one node at a time, each supplying compute to unlock one of the most powerful computers in history.
Our Merit Badge challenges in Week 7 reflect that goal. Not only did we set up a one time badge, but a Daily points badge. Keep contributing, keep earning.
Some projects will ask you to accomplish some task and they’ll give you rewards, that’s great. What if they didn’t just abandon you after you started doing the task? We think we can do better.
Camp Nexus is set up not only to help you earn points for the tasks you complete, but we also want to help you do it better, we want to make it easier for you to earn badges, rewards, points. Our Wayfinding Wednesday post last week helped you to prove more powerfully, and with more flexibility.
On the Nexus web app, you can find the spinning globe showing proving nodes around the world. We wanted to show you just how many people are participating in questing, and of course how big Camp Nexus has become.

We are wrapping up Camp Nexus this week. One thing we want to do is put all of the past Camp Nexus Badges available on the quest.nexus.xyz platform.
Previously, these badges were just something you could look at as we held challenges every week, but now you can keep them in your Snag profile. Camp is all about making memories, after all.
