Nexus has been on the move. Over the past two weeks, Nexus brought our community together in Shenzhen and Seoul.
From Proof of Nexus 2.0 to our first-ever Korea Blockchain Week event, we connect builders, researchers, and enthusiasts across Asia.
On September 20, Nexus co-hosted Proof of Nexus 2.0 in Shenzhen with OpenBuild. The event is our largest in China so far with engaging discussions and vibrant energy from our Chinese community.
I was able to lead attendees through the current state of the Nexus network, its development roadmap, and opportunities for participation. I also introduced the latest NodeRunner program and shared what Nexus has achieved so far: more than 3 million verified users on Testnet III, 6.7 million prover nodes, 24 million on-chain transactions, 500,000+ deployed contracts, presence in 90 percent of countries across 1000+ cities, and partnerships with 96 web2 and web3 companies.
The event also discussed real-world applications of Nexus in DeFi and AI, as well as how individuals can participate in our current community programs and build the ecosystem. We also had the honor to host a panel with guests from Zypher Network, AiMo Network, and Intchains Group fpr a thoughtful discussion about zk technology and AI.

Nexus is unstoppable, the team also traveled to Seoul for Korea Blockchain Week. We co-hosted Verifiable: AI x DeFi Networking Night with Cosmostation. This marked Nexus’ first event in Korea, which helped us connect with our APAC community even more.
We spent an evening exploring how verifiability in web3 can bring trust to AI applications, and offered an honest look at the current state and future of DeFi.
Speakers from leading web3 projects shared their insights, including Steve Yu, Head of BD at Nexus; David Song, Head of BD at Cosmostation; Maghnus Mareneck, Co-CEO of Interchain; Jihoon Yi, APAC Lead at Babylon; Aaron Kong, Head of BD at Osmosis; Jongwon Park, Developer at Story Protocol; and Difeng Jiang, APAC BD Lead at Allora Network.

The conversations and collaborations that began in Shenzhen and Seoul will continue to guide Nexus’ growth globally, as we work together to build a decentralized, trustworthy, and verifiable ecosystem, a vision that continues to grow stronger with every step we take.
