We are honored to see tremendous worldwide interest and participation in the first beta release of the Nexus network.
Our goal is to unite the world’s computers into a single supercomputer that will be able to prove all of the Internet’s computations and build the foundation of the Verifiable Internet.
Since the first beta release two weeks ago, more than 70,000 people from 91% of the world’s countries have contributed to Nexus’ mission.
The community proved a total of 732 million cycles with a peak total network speed of 813 Hz (cycles per second).
We are grateful to everyone who participated in this first beta test.
What’s Next?
We will be ending this first beta test at 9 am PT on October 28 to evaluate the feedback and prioritize our roadmap for the next beta release.
We just added the ability to connect your Prover ID with an email account. You can connect your email to your Prover ID with the “My Profile” icon next to your Prover ID in the lower left corner. You’ll be able to attach your Prover ID to your email at any time, even after the current beta test has ended.
How Can I Participate?
The leaderboard will be paused when the current beta test ends, but you can continue to connect to the network and test future releases on our new devnet release channel.
You’ll see a button to toggle between testnet and devnet in the upper right corner of the network beta page https://beta.nexus.xyz/
The network devnet channel is an early developer release so performance and features will be under construction. Developers can also continue to use the CLI tool to connect to the network.
We’ll have more beta releases coming soon with improved performance, more features and partners as we scale the network. Contact us at growth@nexus.xyz if you’re interested in working with us to enable the Verifiable Internet.
We’ll also be adding more content, events and moderators for our community, so make sure to join our Discord and follow us on X.
Stay tuned for more updates soon.
