One of the most anticipated updates from the community is finally here: the Nexus Community Point Incentive 1.0 is officially live!
Over the past few months, we’ve seen incredible energy and commitment from contributors across the ecosystem. From thoughtful blog posts to community events, viral memes, and technical support and you’ve shown what it means to build Nexus together. Now, it's time to reward that effort.
This reward program is a trial run during Testnet III. During this trial phase, contributors will earn Testnet III points, and the conversion ratio to Testnet III NEX is subject to change.
Whether you're a dev, creator, rally organizer, or just getting started, there’s a place for you here. We're excited to grow this together.
The first batch of points will be distributed by next Tuesday, July 22, 2025, please watch our Discord for announcement.

Contribution types that qualify
Here’s a breakdown of common types of contributions (not limited to these types, we trust your ability to amaze us!) we recognize and reward:
Nexus Ambassadors
Nexus Ambassadors are highly engaged contributors selected directly by the Nexus team. These individuals help drive the ecosystem forward through leadership, influence, and hands-on involvement. The number of ambassadors is limited to ensure meaningful participation and clear impact.
How Ambassadors are selected
Ambassadors are chosen from:
Consistently active contributors
Top rally performers across Discord, X, and other platforms
Those who hold a current Discord role (these individuals receive priority consideration)
Ambassador expectations
All Ambassadors are expected to:
Support their region or vertical (e.g. content, development, local events)
Actively engage across channels, especially Discord
Coordinate or contribute to online and offline initiatives
Represent Nexus to external communities and partners
Post at least four high-quality pieces of content about Nexus per month
Ambassadors will be reviewed monthly. Inactivity or failure to contribute may result in removal of the title and loss of monthly rewards.
Examples of notable contributions include:
Development of tools, dashboards, or scripts
Hosting AMAs, onboarding sessions, or community calls
Creating viral memes, videos, or explainers
Driving dApp development or BD opportunities
Leading operational or organizational efforts
All existing Ambassadors will receive retroactive 25,000 points for past contributions. Future tiered rewards may be introduced based on continued impact.
Discord role rewards
Holding a Discord role signals a contributor’s focus and consistent performance in a specific area. Roles are reassigned monthly based on quality and output.
Only newly assigned roles each month will receive points.Current role holders can earn rewards again if they are reselected for a different role in the following month. All current role holders will also receive restorative points of 20,000 points as of this plan’s rollout.
Tiered rewards via the #Engage channel
The #engage channel on Discord tracks community participation across platforms like X, TikTok, and more. Activity in this channel can earn you tier-based rewards based on short- and long-term engagement.
Nexus Mods will review all collected data (likes, retweets, responses, creative content, etc.) before confirming tier recipients.
Ad hoc bonus and special recognition
In addition to structured rewards, the Nexus team may also grant one-time bonuses to recognize outstanding contributors or initiatives. For example:

This rewards program is an exciting trial run during Testnet III, designed to recognize and support the amazing contributors who are helping build Nexus today. The points you earn now are Testnet III points, and the exact values, reward structures, and conversion ratios to NEX may change as we refine the program.
