Even as summer winds down, the Nexus community shows no signs of slowing. August was full of local meetups, new initiatives, and amazing creative contributions from builders and fans around the world.
From China to Nigeria, online to offline, our community came together to connect, build, and grow the Nexus ecosystem. Here’s a closer look at everything we accomplished this month and what’s coming next.
Proof of Nexus Meetup recap
We successfully wrapped up our Proof of Nexus local meetups across four cities in two countries, connecting builders, Nexus friends, and ecosystem enthusiasts. These events are at the heart of growing our ecosystem locally while being part of a global movement.

Proof of Nexus Meetup is a community-driven initiative for in-person gatherings where builders, creators, and Nexus friends can connect and network. These meetups are designed to support local ecosystem growth while linking participants to the global Nexus community.
This program is now open for applications and will remain ongoing. If you feel your city is ready for a Nexus meetup, we encourage you to apply anytime.
We are excited to see where the next meetups will take us.
Ambassador program re-opened
Nexus Ambassador Program is back. Within just one week, we received over 600 applications from passionate community members eager to support Nexus in their regions.
We deeply appreciate the enthusiasm and energy from everyone who applied. We will get in touch with the selected candidates and look forward to working with our new ambassadors to grow local communities.
Developer workshop: Building on Nexus 101
We are also thrilled to announce our first developer workshop with a member of our technical staff, Joseph Zhang.
