What is a Nexus Ambassador?
Nexus Ambassadors are helping us build a vibrant and global Nexus community. Getting tapped as an influencer carries multiple responsibilities. Ambassadors help build the Nexus ecosystem through leadership, influence, and championing the concept of verifiable computation.

What inspired you to join and advocate for Nexus? How does its mission align with your personal values and vision for the future of web3?
The reasons that attracted me to join and deeply promote Nexus can be summarized in three key points:
1. Core philosophy aligns perfectly with my values: Building a global supercomputer together
Nexus envisions enabling everyone to contribute their device’s computing power and participate in a global, open computing network. This decentralized vision of "participation for all" aligns perfectly with the Web3 principles I deeply believe in—universal inclusion, openness, and empowering the masses.
2. A transparent, authentic, and trustworthy team
The Nexus team is one of the most honest and transparent teams I’ve encountered. They even introduce each core contributor via official channels under the theme of "Say Hello to the World."
This level of authenticity and transparency is extremely rare and valuable in the Web3 space and forms a solid foundation of trust within the community.
3. A team rooted in fundamental technology, not chasing short-term hype
Nexus has not rushed to launch a token but has instead focused on advancing ZK verifiable computation and building foundational infrastructure.
Both the pace and direction reflect a commitment to long-term value creation. This resonates with my belief about the future of Web3: the next phase will shift from "speculation-driven" to "infrastructure-driven."
Nexus is already delivering on that future ahead of time.
How does Nexus’s vision connect with the specific needs, challenges, or opportunities in your local web3 community?
In my view, Nexus’s vision aligns deeply with the core needs of the Chinese-speaking Web3 community.
The Chinese-speaking region has always been a significant force in the global Web3 ecosystem, contributing immensely through top-tier exchanges, star entrepreneurs, and a strong engineering talent pool. However, there has been a long-standing pain point:
Despite having abundant talent and strong engineering capabilities, there are few opportunities to truly participate in building foundational infrastructure. Most people remain at the application or content layer, struggling to break into the protocol and core engineering layers.
Nexus has completely opened this door.
It not only allows users to contribute computing power but also provides global developers with access to its foundational architecture, including:
Node implementation
Verification logic
Protocol design
Toolchains
The entire underlying technology stack
This marks the first time the Chinese-speaking community can:
Directly participate in building foundational infrastructure with engineering expertise
Transform technical contributions into tangible network value
Have their contributions recognized by the global ecosystem
This is the essence of how Nexus deeply meets the needs of the Chinese-speaking Web3 community.
From your perspective, how has the web3 and crypto ecosystem in your region evolved in recent years? What trends have you noticed in developer activity, community participation, or regulations?
Although mainland China remains cautious about cryptocurrencies, the overall Web3 landscape has noticeably heated up in recent years. I’ve observed three key trends:
1. Web3 is entering more real-world industries
There have been continuous breakthroughs in areas such as AI + blockchain, ZK (zero-knowledge), privacy computing, and verifiable computing. Discussions on the technical level are becoming increasingly in-depth.
2. Hong Kong and Shenzhen are emerging as the most active “dual hubs” in the region
Hong Kong has hosted multiple large-scale international Web3 summits.
The regulatory framework is becoming clearer.
Global projects and capital are increasingly converging here.
Technical and engineering discussions are exceptionally vibrant.
Meanwhile, Shenzhen has cultivated a strong engineering-driven atmosphere, with a significant rise in offline activities and the growing maturity of its technical communities.
3. The ecosystem is becoming more professional and committed
Developers are engaging more proactively, and there has been a steady increase in cross-border exchanges, hackathons, and offline events. These developments have fostered greater optimism about the future of Web3 in the region.
In what ways are builders and contributors from your region engaging with the global web3 community?
Are there notable collaborations, recognitions, or bridges being formed through Nexus or other initiatives?
Developers in our region have developed highly mature ways of participating in the global Web3 ecosystem, primarily through the following:
1. Integrating into the global collaboration system via open-source ecosystems
GitHub serves as the most crucial gateway, enabling developers to:
Submit code
Improve documentation
Report issues
Participate in testing
Through these contributions, developers can quickly gain visibility from international teams and establish long-term collaborations.
2. Leveraging global community platforms
Tools like Discord, Telegram, and X make communication more efficient. Developers who actively participate in discussions are often recognized by core teams.
3. International hackathons and technical competitions
Events such as ZK challenges and AI × on-chain hackathons provide opportunities for developers to interact with global projects face-to-face, win awards, or even join international teams.
4. Nexus as a key “bridge” to the global stage
I’ve seen many contributors gain international recognition through their work with Nexus by:
Creating content
Participating in the Testnet
Solving user issues
Producing designs or documentation
These efforts have brought them to the attention of core developers and the global ecosystem, opening doors to other international projects and even leading to positions in multinational teams.
Nexus is more than just a project—it’s a true gateway for local engineers to step into the core of the global Web3 ecosystem.
What guidance would you give to newcomers in your community looking to get started in web3?
How can projects like Nexus help them grow their skills, connect globally, and contribute meaningfully?
For newcomers to Web3, my first piece of advice would be: learn more, observe more, and participate more. Web3 evolves incredibly fast, and the best way to get started is by learning from those who are already creating, researching, and building. Whether it’s on Twitter, YouTube, or various technical communities, you’ll find an abundance of resources to help you.
In projects like Nexus, if you want to truly grow, expand your international perspective, and gradually participate in the global ecosystem, you can start with the following approaches:
1. Start with community contributions and find the most reliable way to get involved
You can integrate into the community by answering questions, organizing resources, helping newcomers, or introducing the project to friends around you. Web3 values action—those who genuinely help others and are willing to step forward are more likely to be remembered by the community.
2. Try content creation and design, leveraging AI tools to lower the barrier
Even if you’re not a professional designer, you can use AI to assist in creating visuals, videos, or educational content. However, AI is just a tool—the most important aspect is still your own understanding and ideas. The value of content comes from thinking, not simply pressing buttons.
3. Use GitHub to enter more core collaboration spaces
You don’t need to start by writing code. You can begin with documentation, translations, testing, or submitting issues. GitHub is a key global collaboration platform, and many top contributors are recognized by teams through these “small entry points.”
4. Be patient and see yourself as a builder, not a short-term airdrop hunter
Nexus is looking for partners who are willing to invest in the long term, not users who are here for short-term gains. If you’re willing to learn, grow, and consistently participate, your value will be amplified and recognized over time.
5. Be active and visible—let the community see you
Whether it’s on Discord or Twitter, maintaining a genuine presence is crucial. Speak up, join discussions, share ideas, and showcase your contributions. When you’re willing to reach out to the community, the community will naturally reach back to you. Nexus places great importance on authentic contributors—if you’re willing to express yourself and engage, they will definitely notice you.
