USDX, Powered by M0: The Native Dollar of the Verifiable Economy

USDX, Powered by M0: The Native Dollar of the Verifiable Economy

In today’s fragmented stablecoin landscape, many systems are either chasing liquidity or retrofitting incentives. Traders face operational complexity, developers fight for attention, and protocols rely on short-term incentives rather than long-term alignment.

It’s time for a better foundation.

That’s why the Nexus Foundation is launching USDX — the native dollar of the Nexus economy — in collaboration with M0, the digital money operating system.

Together, we’re building something more than just a new stablecoin. We’re building a programmable, interoperable, and verifiable capital layer — designed for the systems that will power tomorrow’s financial internet.

Introducing USDX: A Nexus Stablecoin
USDX is designed as the native dollar of the Nexus economy. It’s a purpose-built settlement currency that operates across all of Nexus.

USDX: One capital substrate for a unified economy

USDX is designed to function as the default unit of account, settlement, and margin across the Nexus ecosystem. Whether you’re trading on the Nexus Exchange, building an app, or provisioning liquidity.

The goal is to unlock coherent capital, where every dollar inside the system speaks the same language.

  • For traders: Every exchange market will be quoted in USDX.
  • For developers: At Mainnet, applications that hold USDX may participate in the Global Yield Distribution System (GYDS). For builders, this means that the traditional system of grants and negotiations are replaced by economic alignment.
  • For institutions: USDX will provide a native unit of account, making capital deployment, accounting, and compliance more efficient.

Built on M0: Stability, programmability, and interoperability by design

USDX is powered by M0 — the open stablecoin platform purpose-built for scalable, interoperable digital dollars.

M0 enables Nexus to launch USDX with a level of flexibility and resilience traditional models can’t match:

  • Multi-issuer architecture, ensuring future scalability
  • Programmable issuance and transfer logic, built for evolving compliance requirements
  • High-quality, 1:1 collateral, backed by short-term U.S. Treasuries and cash equivalents
  • Seamless interoperability, with shared liquidity across all M0-powered stablecoins

M0’s infrastructure is what allows USDX to scale to support the entire Nexus economy.

Verifiable Finance: A New Foundation
At Nexus, we’re building the foundation for verifiable finance: a system where the correctness of every operation.

Verifiable dollar for a verifiable stack

Nexus was built around a single idea: verifiability is the future of the internet’s financial system. And money — especially stablecoins — should be no exception.

That’s why we’re working closely with M0 to embed cryptographic proofs into the core lifecycle of USDX.

The goal is verifiability as a primitive.

Global Yield Distribution System: Finding alignment

USDX is also the first stablecoin to launch with built-in, automated economic alignment via the Global Yield Distribution System (GYDS).

Unlike traditional ecosystems that use governance grants and marketing incentives, the Nexus Foundation aims to distribute yield earned on the USDX underlying assets directly to every application that integrates USDX.

GYDS turns USDX into a shared economic engine, where every new integration makes the system stronger for everyone.

Why now?

Together, the Nexus Foundation and M0 are setting a new standard for stablecoins: native to their ecosystems, economically aligned by design, and provable at every layer.

This is a different model than the one DeFi inherited from traditional finance. It’s not about who controls the biggest pool of stablecoin liquidity — it’s about who can make capital most usable, scalable, and verifiable inside real systems.

That’s what USDX is here to do. And with M0 as our stablecoin infrastructure partner, we’re doing it from day one.
