The Nexus community is entering a new chapter — one where global engagement meets deeper recognition. From record-breaking community engagement during Testnet III Week 1 to the debut of our Points Incentive Structure, we’re building not only the infrastructure of the future, but the community that will sustain and scale it.
Nexus Points Incentive Structure: A new way to recognize you
We’re are planning to introduce the Nexus Points Incentive Structure, a new contribution-based model to acknowledge and reward the many ways our community helps shape the protocol and ecosystem.
As part of an upgraded community role system, this points-based framework makes role assignment more transparent, scalable, and merit-based — without losing the human touch.
Community moderators and contributors are still seen, heard, and understood, and we’ll continue to value both consistency and creativity. With this system, we’re tracking and recognizing contributions across:
- Devs: from code, tooling to building dApps on Nexus
- Creative: memes, artwork, and visual assets
- Education: tutorials, explainers, and documentation
- Regional leadership: AMAs, meetups, and local organizing
- Social media: content, discussion, and storytelling…and more
This is a new way to surface impact and provide a more sustainable, scalable way to reward participation.
More details coming soon and we’ll be listening closely to your feedback as we roll this out.

Testnet III is getting global and massive
Week 1 of Testnet III launched with unprecedented energy. Millions of you showed up and the numbers reflect the size and passion of this global movement. Here’s what we saw:
- 2.6 million unique Nexus accounts created
- 823,200 peak nodes connected to the world supercomputer at the same time
- Users from 190+ countries
- Top regions by participation included: United States, India, Vietnam, Hong Kong SAR, Mainland China, Indonesia, Nigeria, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, and Pakistan.

Abuja meetup: Nexus IRL in Nigeria!
We’re thrilled to announce our first official local meetup in Abuja, Nigeria — RSVP now on Luma.
This gathering marks a big step in bringing Nexus from online forums to on-the-ground connections. Huge thanks to our amazing Nigerian ambassadors for leading this initiative. We'll have more meetups soon, can you guess where Nexus is heading next?
Community AMAs: China and Nigeria
As Testnet III got underway, we also hosted two regional AMAs, giving our contributors a chance to connect directly with the team. Our product design lead Muchao joined me to meet with the community to answer questions and share insights:

Thanks for continuously being part of Nexus. As we grow, so does the need for a community that’s thoughtful, generous, and curious. You are helping shape the future of the world supercomputer.
Keep building. Keep sharing. Keep showing the world what verifiable infrastructure looks like — with a community at the center.
